Jersey humidity is hard on stored furniture

Summers here run humid and winters swing cold and dry, and an unconditioned garage or attic follows right along. Those swings are what warp solid wood, spot leather and upholstery with mildew, curl photographs, and dull the finish on a piano. A climate-controlled room holds temperature and moisture far steadier, so what comes out in March still looks like what went in last August.

Behind more than a padlock

Your belongings go into a private room inside our building, not an open bay shared with whatever else came off a truck that week. Alarms cover the building and the fire system reports to monitoring at any hour, weekends and holidays included. Because our own crews are the ones moving inventory in and out, very few hands ever touch your things while they are with us.

Nothing goes into a unit unlogged. We list every piece with a note on its condition, hand you that record to look over and sign off on, then check it against the same list the day your things come back. If anything is ever in question, the paperwork settles it.

Moved in and out with care

Storage almost always means a move at each end, and we handle both. Our crews wrap and pad your things, take furniture apart and put it back together, and load everything onto trackable trucks so you always know where it is. Fragile and high-value pieces get extra attention, and every quote is free.

A season, or a few years

Some people need a room for the six weeks between closings. Others park a whole household while they are working abroad, or keep a room running for years because the new place is smaller than the old one. Both work the same way here, and you do not have to pin down an exact end date the day you start. If you need something back partway through, give us notice and we will arrange a time to pull it rather than leaving you to dig through a stack.

How much room you need, and what stays out

Most people guess high or low, and both cost you. Walk us through the rooms you are emptying and we will estimate the space your inventory actually takes, so you are not paying monthly for air. A short list of items cannot legally go into storage anywhere, and a few oversized pieces need a heads-up so we bring the right equipment and set aside the right room.

When the closing dates refuse to line up

Sellers close on a Friday and buyers get keys three weeks later far more often than anyone plans for. When that gap opens up, the whole house can come off the truck into a room here and go back on when the new place is ready, with our crews doing the lifting both times. That beats renting a truck twice, filling a relative's garage, or paying for a hotel stay surrounded by boxes.

Files, stock, and the desks nobody is using

Businesses store for different reasons than families do. A renovation pushes half a floor out for a month, a lease runs out before the new suite is ready, or records have to be kept for years but not in the room where people are trying to work. Commercial loads get the same item-by-item record as a household, so you know exactly what left the building and what is coming back.
