The whole house, or just the kitchen

Some people want the packing gone entirely and would rather not see a roll of tape. Others are happy filling boxes with books and linens but do not want to be the one responsible for the stemware or a garage full of tools. Both are normal, and you can tell us where that line falls right up to the day before we pack.

The box matters more than people think

A carton from behind the grocery store has already carried one load and lost most of its strength doing it. We bring new corrugated boxes rated for the weight going into them, along with the specialty containers that actually change the outcome: thicker-walled dish barrels, wardrobe boxes with a hanging bar, and flat cartons built for mirrors and framed art.

One room finished before the next one starts

We close out a room completely before opening the next, which keeps a bedroom's contents together instead of scattered across six cartons in three rooms. It also means the rest of the house stays usable while we work. Each box is marked with the room it came from and a short note on what is inside, so on delivery day the crew can set it down in the right place without asking you twenty questions. If part of the load is headed to a storage unit rather than the new address, we separate and mark those cartons as we pack them.

The items you would rather not wrap yourself

A few things have exactly one correct way to travel and no second chance if it goes wrong. Lamps come apart before they go in a box. Marble and glass tops ride on edge rather than flat. A flat screen goes back in its original carton when you still have it and into a fitted box when you do not, with the panel face protected either way.

Getting everything back out of the boxes

Packing gets all the attention, but unpacking is what stands between you and a normal week. Our team can open cartons, set the contents out on counters and shelves, put beds and tables back together, and carry off every scrap of cardboard and paper on the way out. You decide how far it goes: a full unpack, or just the kitchen and bedrooms so the first night works.

Desks, files, and server racks

An office does not pack like a house. Contents get labeled by workstation and department instead of by room, records stay sealed and accounted for from one building to the next, and the work usually happens after hours so nobody loses a billable day. Larger properties follow the same logic on a bigger scale, with each floor or wing packed and staged in sequence.

Doing it yourself? Buy by the house, not by the trip

If you would rather pack your own home, the smartest thing you can do is order supplies for the whole house at once. Skip the boxes and pack into bins

There is a version of this move with no cardboard in it at all.
